Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in the construction industry, based in Sunnyside, New York. The chosen candidate will work alongside our team, playing an integral role in maintaining financial records and processing transactions.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately process invoices and ensure prompt payment to vendors
Assist in maintaining and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
Regularly upload certified payroll data into various portals
Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks and data entry
Execute account reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy
Collaborate with the Office Manager, Project Managers, Estimators, and Payroll Administrator
Conduct audits to maintain financial integrity and accountability
Assist in billing processes to ensure timely payments
Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, and SAP for various financial tasks

Requirements:

Proficient in Account Reconciliation
Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) processes
Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
Demonstrated skill in Billing
Proficient in Data Entry
Experience in Invoice Processing
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with Oracle financial management software
Proficiency in QuickBooks
Experience with SAP software
