Job Description:

We are on the lookout for a meticulous and dedicated Accounting Clerk to be a part of our team in the Insurance industry based in Sunrise, Florida, United States. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be instrumental in ensuring the precision of data entry, managing transaction processes, and conducting basic reconciliation tasks. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Execute precise data entry of both domestic and international invoices and checks
Guarantee the maintenance of up-to-date and organized transaction records
Play a key role in updating balance sheet data and performing basic reconciliations
Adhere to established processes to support the day-to-day operations of the accounting department
Contribute to the smooth running of current systems as new processes are implemented
Collaborate effectively with team members to identify and support process improvements
Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
Maintain precise records of customer credit
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on their status
Handle inquiries from customers and resolve them in a timely manner

Requirements:

Proven experience in the Insurance industry
Previous work as an Accounting Clerk or a similar role
Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Expertise in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Experience in Billing and Invoice Processing
Strong data entry skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with Oracle is a significant plus
Experience with QuickBooks is beneficial
Knowledge of SAP is desirable
Experience in performing Reconciliations

Nice to have:

Familiarity with Oracle
Experience with QuickBooks
Knowledge of SAP
