Job Description:

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Duluth, Georgia. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be involved in the accounting department's daily operations, including account reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and general ledger entries. Your responsibilities will involve maintaining financial records and assisting with the preparation of reports and forecasts.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately process and record day-to-day financial transactions in QuickBooks Desktop
Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Prepare and process invoices
Perform account reconciliation tasks for bank statements, credit cards, and other financial records
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and other stakeholders
Maintain compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures
Provide support during audits
Carry out other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:

Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Ability to manage Accounts Payable (AP) effectively
Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
Must have skills in Billing procedures
Expertise in Data Entry
Familiarity with Invoice Processing
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of Oracle is preferred
Experience in QuickBooks is highly desirable
SAP skills are a significant advantage

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Oracle
SAP skills
