Accounting Manager/Supervisor

• Direct and manage administrative tasks within the manufacturing facility
• Oversee the processing of receipts and invoices, handling any invoice exceptions and tracking freight receivers for AP processing
• Contribute to month-end closing activities, including the maintenance and filing of financial documentation
• Maintain and update accrual rebuild reporting to ensure timely resolution of AP processing and correct reporting
• Execute General Ledger entries and balances related to miscellaneous inventory management
• Prepare, coordinate, and execute cycle counts and physical inventory
• close inventory, including the review of pending transactions
• Provide support for payroll processing activities
• Generate analysis reports for management regarding various cost, efficiency, and inventory trends
• Manage the cost accounting system to ensure accurate costing of products including inventory and resource usage rates
• Provide general administrative support to manufacturing plant financial and non-financial activities, including payroll, production reporting and general bookkeeping

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Experience in managing Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Auditing, Billing Functions, and Cost Accounting
• Possess at least 3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the accounting sector of the manufacturing industry
• Proficient in using accounting software systems
• Knowledge and experience in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Capable of managing all accounting functions including but not limited to financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficiency in auditing and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Capable of managing billing functions effectively and efficiently
• Expertise in cost accounting and ability to implement cost reduction measures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills for making sound financial decisions
• Ability to develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional accounting certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred
