Job Description:

The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies across multiple sites.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise AP and AR across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with policies
Review AP entries for accurate coding and timely payments
Ensure three-way match process and resolve discrepancies
Monitor Received Not Invoiced and AP aging reports with GL alignment
Assist with ACH payments, AP accruals, and weekly check runs
Validate AR entries for revenue recognition and payment terms
Review cash receipts and monitor AR aging reports
Assist with collections and resolve billing issues with customer service
Ensure POs and packing slips match customer billings
Provide AP/AR backup during staff absences
Manage audit documentation and assist with month-end close
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
Perform ad-hoc duties as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with ERP systems
Skilled in query building and data mining
Background in contract manufacturing
Team-oriented mindset, as recognized by peers

Nice to have:

Strong background in Cost Accounting
Problem-solving skills with a solution-focused approach
Proactive in addressing concerns and potential issues
Results-driven with a positive, can-do attitude
