Job Description:

We are seeking an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in the non-profit industry based in Roseville, Minnesota. In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and ledgers, guiding assigned departments with budgeting and forecasting, and mentoring other finance department staff.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure the accuracy and maintenance of ledgers and financial reporting
Guide and support assigned departments in understanding and monitoring financial matters
Act as a resource for complex financial transactions and for tracking funding
Review and approve the budgeting, accounting, and reporting functions of assigned departments
Assist with the preparation of consolidated financial statements
Develop and maintain an internal accounting procedure manual
Mentor and guide accounting staff, including reviewing work and providing training
Use accounting software systems and ERP for efficient accounting functions
Handle the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, and oversee auditing and billing functions
Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Requirements:

Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
Experience with ADP - Financial Services
Familiarity with BlackLine software
Knowledge of Concur
Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
Ability to manage Accounts Payable (AP)
Ability to manage Accounts Receivable (AR)
Experience in Auditing
Ability to handle Billing Functions
