Job Description:

An exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Indianapolis, Indiana where you will oversee general accounting functions, manage intercompany transactions, ensure accurate reporting, and guide and develop staff.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise general ledger accounting functions to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Oversee and manage intercompany transactions, fixed assets, and treasury reporting
Handle the company's banking transactions, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and manage debt payments
Participate in managing banking relationships and bank account maintenance
Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
Assist with year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
Work with external auditors to facilitate correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end
Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested, providing valuable insights for decision making
Prepare tax and other regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Conduct customer credit reviews, maintaining healthy financial relationships
Assess current practices and procedures, recommending improvements for enhanced efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role or related field
Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
Expertise in managing a wide range of Accounting Functions
Proven experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Extensive knowledge of Auditing procedures
Familiarity with Billing Functions and processes
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Experience in handling Month End Close procedures
Capability to manage Month-end Close Activities
Strong background in preparing and analyzing Financial Reporting
Proven ability in Supervising a team
Demonstrated experience in Supervisory management within an accounting setting
