Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Indianapolis, Indiana. The successful candidate will be joining a fast-paced environment where they will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions. This position is within the financial services industry.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Manage bookkeeping activities including maintaining accurate records of financial transactions
Supervise the preparation of payroll and related tax filings
Coordinate banking transactions, ensuring all are recorded and reconciled accurately
Utilize accounting software systems, particularly QuickBooks, for various accounting tasks
Leverage Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data analysis
Streamline billing functions to enhance accuracy and efficiency
Handle ADP-related tasks within the financial services domain
Maintain and update customer credit records as needed

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounting Manager/Supervisor
Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is necessary
Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required
Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of Accounting Functions
Must be familiar with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures
Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is crucial
Must be able to manage Billing Functions effectively
Proficiency in QuickBooks software is mandatory
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are required
