Job Description:

An exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Maple Grove, Minnesota, within the manufacturing industry. This role involves supervising an AP person and performing a variety of accounting functions while reporting directly to the CFO.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise and manage accounting functions to ensure efficient operations
Utilize accounting software systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools for streamlined processes
Oversee accounts payable (AP) to maintain financial accuracy
Perform month end close activities and account reconciliation tasks to ensure financial accuracy
Conduct auditing activities to ensure compliance with financial regulations
Implement A to Z accounting practices to maintain fiscal stability
Liaise with the CFO, providing regular reports and updates

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as Accounting Manager or Supervisor, or Senior Accountant ready for that next step
Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
Familiarity and working knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary
Must have experience handling Accounting Functions
Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is ideal
The candidate must possess Auditing skills
Must have experience in Month End Close procedures
The candidate should have skills in Account Reconciliation
