Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to become a vital part of our team in Rushville, Indiana. In this role, you will work within the manufacturing industry, performing a variety of accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable, auditing, and financial reporting.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and manage all accounts payable and receivable activities
Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
Utilize accounting software systems to streamline processes and enhance productivity
Perform month-end close activities, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up to date
Generate and analyze financial reports, providing key insights and recommendations
Manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date
Oversee payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments
Perform various accounting functions, including journal entries and billing functions
Maintain a strong understanding of the manufacturing industry to provide relevant financial insights.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accounting Manager/Supervisor
Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions
Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes
Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
Auditing skills
Familiarity with Billing Functions
Experience in the Manufacturing industry is a plus
Adept at Month-end Close Activities.
