Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Pasadena, California, who will oversee accounting staff and manage financial processes, including fixed asset accounting, taxes, treasury, credit, and collections. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with GAAP, managing budgets, and addressing financial issues.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the monthly close process and ensure the accuracy of account reconciliations
guide the accounting staff in all areas including fixed asset accounting, taxes, treasury, credit, and collections
ensure compliance with GAAP and technical accounting subject matters
develop and implement appropriate financial controls to comply with accepted accounting principles and applicable local, state, and federal laws
prepare and present Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Statements
manage the preparation of financial statements and close the books for multiple business units, including commercial real estate business
oversee the preparation of annual budgets and financial reports to confirm accurate current and projected financial position
regularly review accounting entries to ensure accuracy and timeliness
maintain strict confidentiality of operational, financial, and business information
proactively identify and address potentially adverse finance issues
achieve budget objectives by scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accounting Manager/Supervisor
experience in Commercial Property Management
well-versed with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions
experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
expertise in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
solid background in Auditing
familiarity with Billing Functions
experience in CAM Reconciliation.
