Job Description:

As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee key financial functions, including the standardization of the chart of accounts for the integration of a large number of companies in NetSuite. Additional responsibilities include production of financial reports, maintaining accurate accounting records, managing the invoicing team, and implementing controls and budgets to minimize risk and ensure compliance with GAAP standards. This is a unique opportunity to lead and influence financial operations in a dynamic and rapidly growing organization.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee key financial functions
Standardization of the chart of accounts for the integration of companies in NetSuite
Production of financial reports
Maintain accurate accounting records
Manage the invoicing team
Implement controls and budgets to minimize risk and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
Build, supervise, and train a high-performing Corporate Accounting Department team
Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports
Oversee controls and budgets to mitigate financial risk
Support leadership with data analysis, decision-making models, and project validation

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of management experience in accounting and invoicing
2+ years of recent hands-on experience with NetSuite, preferably with implementation experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong analytical, decision-making, and collaboration skills
Familiarity with job costing and pricing models
Ability to work onsite at our Greenbelt, MD office, Monday through Friday

Nice to have:

Implementation experience with NetSuite
Familiarity with job costing and pricing models
