Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager in Houston, Texas. This role involves managing all accounting functions, streamlining processes, resolving technical accounting issues, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and streamline all accounting functions, including general ledger accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
Utilize NetSuite for various accounting tasks
Ensure accuracy through frequent account reconciliations
Apply US GAAP principles in all financial reporting tasks
Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial statements regularly
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize and streamline processes
Provide necessary support during audits and tax preparation phases
Oversee the month-end close process, including bank reconciliations, posting of revenue and expenses, and balance sheet account reconciliations
Review, evaluate, and implement effective accounting systems, controls, policies, and procedures
Prepare monthly reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and statements of cash flows
Complete regular monthly and quarterly sales reports
Work closely with external CPA firm in preparation of annual tax returns and manage the annual audit
Assist with the annual and quarterly budgeting process to ensure financial efficiency

Requirements:

Demonstrable experience as an Accounting Manager for at least 5 years
Proficient knowledge of US GAAP
Proven experience in annual financial reporting
Extensive experience in conducting month-end close activities
Proficient in using NetSuite software
Ability to lead and supervise a team
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
CPA or relevant certification is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity

Nice to have:
