Job Description:

The accounting manager is responsible for driving accounting controls. The accounting manager is responsible for the month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries, bank and cash reconciliations and financial statement preparation.

Job Responsibility:

Plan and direct the accounting operations of the company
Oversee the operations of the Accounting Department
Mentor and develop team members and delegates tasks based on abilities
Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
Implement a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk
Responsible for regular reconciliation of general ledger to verify that all transactions are correctly categorized and balanced
Oversee the production of periodic financial reports
Ensure that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles
Manage daily cash flow and prepare cash forecasts

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
Experience with BlackLine software
Knowledge of Concur system
Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
Ability to perform all Accounting Functions
Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Auditing skills
Experience with Billing Functions
Must be proficient in handling Month End Close procedures
Familiarity with Month-end Close Activities
Knowledge of Month-end Financial processes
Experience with Month-end Journal Entries
Proficiency in Monthly Account Reconciliation
Familiarity with Monthly Accruals procedures
