Job Description:

My client is a highly prestigious digital media company part of one of the largest media conglomerates globally. They are growing rapidly, with several promotions on the team. The Director of Accounting is looking for an exceptional Accounting Manager to add to their team. This is a permanent, full-time, fully benefited salaried position, located in Midtown NYC with a hybrid schedule (3 days a week onsite). Compensation is between $120k - $145k base + bonus, based on experience. Responsibilities include managing ASC-606, handling complex revenue streams, managing the month-end close, producing financial statements, managing AP/AR, and supervising 1-2 staff members.

Job Responsibility:

Managing ASC-606
Managing multiple and complicated revenue streams
Managing the month-end close and producing financial statements
Hands-on with the general ledger and AP/AR
Managing 1-2 staff

Requirements:

Experience in the media/advertising space is a plus
Strong revenue recognition / ASC 606 required
Previous management experience required
A minimum of a BA/BS in accounting from a top accredited school
B4/Public Accounting and/or a CPA are a plus
5+ years of experience
Exceptional communications skills
A great dynamic personality
Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals inside and outside the company

Nice to have:
