Job Description:

Accounting Manager for close to billion dollar organizations team in Oakbrook, Illinois. In this crucial role, you will be managing and supervising the accounting department, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and statements.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise and provide day-to-day responsibilities to the accounting department staff
Oversee the process of monthly financial closing
Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial statements and analysis
Review and prepare appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations
Financial statements and reporting to management
Involved in creating best practices and streamlining accounting processes
Sales Tax oversight, interact with auditors and taxing authorities
Coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth auditing processes

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Supervisory experience
6 plus years progressive accounting experience
Excel vlook ups and pivot tables
CPA a plus
