Job Description:

We are continuing to look for an experienced Accounting Specialists to help assist local clients with their ongoing needs on a contract basis. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and has a strong background in general accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Job Responsibility:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments
reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts
prepare financial reports and assist in month-end and year-end close processes
review accounting entries for accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed

Requirements:

Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of accounting experience
prior work as an Accounting Specialist is preferred
strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices
proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms
excellent Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) and general proficiency in Microsoft Office
highly organized with strong attention to detail
ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
