Job Description:

A thriving company on the northwest side of Fort Wayne is seeking an Accounting Specialist to assist with a project focused on financial cleanup.

Job Responsibility:

Perform tasks related to financial data cleanup, reconciliation, and organization
Support day-to-day accounting operations, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger work
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reports
Identify discrepancies and take corrective actions to resolve them promptly
Assist with ad hoc accounting projects as needed

Requirements:

Proven experience in an accounting or finance role (e.g., Accounting Specialist, Bookkeeper, or similar)
Ability to catch on quickly and effectively contribute with minimal oversight
Proficiency with standard accounting software (experience with tools like QuickBooks or NetSuite is a plus)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting

Nice to have:

Experience with tools like QuickBooks or NetSuite
