Job Description:

The Accounts Assistant, Receiving at Sheraton Johor Bahru is responsible for receiving, unloading, and processing deliveries, verifying and tracking received inventory, reconciling shipping invoices, and ensuring the safekeeping of packages. The role also involves communicating with guests, maintaining accurate tracking systems, and adhering to company policies and safety standards.

Job Responsibility:

Receive, unload, and process deliveries
Verify and track received inventory
Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports
Secure the receiving room and its contents
Ship all out-going mail and packages
Communicate with guests regarding received packages
Maintain accurate tracking system on all shipping and receiving transactions
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
Follow all company policies and procedures
Address guests' service needs
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
