Job Description:

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity in the rubber manufacturing industry in South Haven, Michigan, United States. The role entails an Accounts Payable Clerk who will be instrumental in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, receipts and payments.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately processing customer credit applications
Keeping precise records of customer credit
Resolving customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner
Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action as required
Utilizing SAP to enter financial data accurately
Handling Accounts Payable duties with efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable (AP) role
Proficiency in using SAP software for managing accounts
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Knowledge of general accounting procedures related to accounts payable
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Proficient in Office Suite, especially Excel
Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot numerical errors
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in the rubber manufacturing industry is a plus
