Job Description:

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in LOS ANGELES, California. This role is within the Non-Profit sector and offers a long term contract employment opportunity. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you'll be tasked with handling invoice and requisition documents, ensuring their accuracy, and maintaining organized financial records. You'll also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to both vendors and internal departments.

Job Responsibility:

Verifying the accuracy of invoice and requisition documents received
Handling the organization and management of financial forms
Preparing invoices for data entry and payment processing
Generating backup reports post data entry
Identifying discrepancies in invoices and reconciling them
Updating and maintaining records and databases with financial data
Ensuring all transactions are properly filed and recorded
Tracking outstanding invoices or discrepancies and ensuring resolution
Serving as the point of contact for vendors and internal departments, providing excellent customer service

Requirements:

A minimum of one year experience serving in an Accounts Payable or related financial role within a Non-Profit organization
Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Solid experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
Familiarity with Check Runs
Proven ability in Coding Invoices
Capable of performing Data Entry tasks with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Experience in Invoice Processing
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel
Experience with Oracle financial software
Knowledge of QuickBooks
Familiarity with SAP
