Job Description:

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Santa Barbara, California. As an integral part of our team, you will be instrumental in managing our gift card inventory and processing invoices, ensuring smooth financial operations within our organization.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately and efficiently handle the processing of invoices
Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and update spreadsheets related to inventory and accounts payable
Conduct regular account reconciliation
Manage the check runs process
Drive a county vehicle as needed for managing physical gift card inventory
Use skills in coding invoices
Collaborate effectively with the team

Requirements:

Minimum of two years' experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar accounting position
Proven proficiency in account reconciliation
Demonstrated experience in managing accounts payable (AP), including invoice processing and check runs
Skilled in coding invoices
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data management and financial analysis
Experience with Workday or similar financial management software is preferred
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information responsibly
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
Good organizational and time-management skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
