Job Description:

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Macon, Georgia. The job function involves processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. The industry is fast-paced and dynamic, and the workplace is highly collaborative.

Job Responsibility:

Account reconciliation to ensure accurate and timely record keeping
Handling accounts payable activities including invoice processing and coding invoices
Conducting check runs to ensure timely payment of invoices
Efficiently processing customer credit applications
Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks
Performing data entry tasks as required
Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary

Requirements:

Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential for the role
Prior experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required
Ability to perform Check Runs effectively
Experience in Coding Invoices is desirable
Strong Data Entry skills are required
Competence in Invoice Processing is necessary
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
Knowledge and experience of Oracle is highly desirable
Familiarity with QuickBooks is advantageous
SAP expertise is a significant plus
