We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client in the Lebanon, PA area. In this role, you'll play a vital part in maintaining our financial records, including processing payments, tracking invoices, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Job Responsibility:
Accurately and efficiently handle the processing of Accounts Payable invoices
Manage email communication related to Accounts Payable and Sales Tax, responding to inquiries in a timely manner
Actively participate in month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and accruals
Prepare and process electronic payments and checks, ensuring all transactions are properly authorized
Seek out opportunities for discounts to optimize company spending
Prepare 1099's according to due date
Manage sales and use tax payments on invoices as necessary
Provide support to other Accounting and Finance functions when required
Requirements:
5+ years experience in an Accounts Payable role required or Bachelor's degree in Accounting and equivalent experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and prior ERP system experience
