Job Description:

Robert Half is in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk for our client in the manufacturing sector, based in Gonzales, Louisiana. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be tasked with handling account reconciliation, accounts payable, executing check runs, coding invoices, and data entry. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of our financial processes. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately process invoices using Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel
Execute check runs to ensure timely and accurate payments
Oversee accounts payable, ensuring all financial obligations are met
Perform account reconciliation tasks to maintain accurate financial records
Handle coding invoices to appropriate accounts or cost centers
Maintain and update data entry records for accuracy and completeness
Respond to and resolve any issues related to invoice processing
Monitor financial transactions and reports for any discrepancies
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial reports
Comply with financial policies and procedures to maintain internal controls

Requirements:

Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
Experience with Check Runs
Proficient in Coding Invoices
Strong Data Entry skills
Experience in Invoice Processing
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Proficiency in Sage Intacct
