Job Description:

We are in the Life Sciences industry, based in Hatfield, Pennsylvania, and we're currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. In this role, you'll be tasked with managing our payment obligations, maintaining organized financial records, and assisting in improving our payment processing procedures.

Job Responsibility:

Efficiently process high-volume transactions
Maintain and manage vendor invoicing
Serve as a liaison between internal departments
Aid in the preparation of reports related to accounts payable
Assist in the execution of payments and manage vendor relations
Participate in the implementation and maintenance of systems for managing financial records
Ensure costs are correctly posted to the corresponding G/L accounts
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
Contribute to streamlining the accounts payable process
Handle daily cash reporting responsibilities

Requirements:

Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and operations
Experience with executing Check Runs
Knowledge of Coding Invoices
Strong skills in Invoice Processing
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with ERP software
Familiarity with the Healthcare/Life Sciences industry
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
Strong organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Good communication skills
Proven ability to meet deadlines
A relevant qualification in finance, accounting or a related field
Prior experience in a similar role within the Healthcare/Life Sciences industry
