Job Description:

Management Resources is seeking an interim Accounts Payable Manager based in Dallas, Texas. This is 100% onsite. The role involves managing the entire accounts payable process, enhancing financial accuracy and efficiency, and working in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in Oracle 11i is mandatory.

Job Responsibility:

Streamline and optimize the accounts payable system using Oracle 11.i
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounts payable processes
Identify and resolve issues with manual processing
Lead efforts to clear accounts payable backlogs
Improve batch release processes and reconcile discrepancies
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams
Identify opportunities for automation
Provide mentorship and hands-on training to accounts payable staff
Foster improved communication with Purchasing and Finance teams
Conduct a full Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process review
Support the transition to a structured accounts payable function
Drive compliance and controls

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role
Proficiency in Account Coding
Familiarity with various Accounting Software Systems
Experience with Concur
Adept at Data Processing
Ability to handle all Accounting Functions efficiently
Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
Knowledge of Accrual Accounting
Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH)
Familiarity with Oracle 11i
Clear understanding of Procure-to-pay
