Job Description:

This role involves handling and processing accounts payable, maintaining precise records, and resolving inquiries related to accounts payable. The candidate should be proficient in using Microsoft Excel, particularly pivot tables. This role presents a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and process accounts payable effectively and efficiently
Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks, including pivot tables and V-lookups
Maintain precise records of all transactions and activities related to accounts payable
Address and resolve any inquiries or issues related to accounts payable
Monitor accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary
Ensure timely processing and payment of invoices
Perform daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits
Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues

Requirements:

Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations with the ability to handle high volume invoice processing
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create, manage, and manipulate spreadsheets
Experience in utilizing Pivot Table functions for data analysis and reporting in Excel
Understanding of general accounting principles and their application to accounts payable tasks
Ability to accurately process and reconcile payments in a timely manner
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with vendors and internal teams
Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in Accounts Payable
