Job Description:

A leading real estate company in Solana Beach, CA, is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of AP processes, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Job Responsibility:

Review, code, and process invoices accurately, ensuring timely payment to vendors
Prepare and execute weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
Review and process employee expense reimbursements in compliance with company policies
Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and other financial documents for audits and reporting
Serve as the primary contact for vendor inquiries, maintaining positive and professional relationships

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in the real estate industry
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
Experience with accounting ERP systems (e.g., Yardi, SAP, or Oracle)
Exceptional time management, problem-solving abilities, and great attention to detail
Familiarity with accounting principles, property management, and real estate industry terminology is a huge plus
