Job Description:

This Accounts Payable Specialist position is in the restaurant industry and will involve a high volume of work, including the processing of a significant number of invoices per week. The Accounts Payable Specialist position will be integral to an onshoring accounting initiative and will require expertise in Restaurant 365.

Job Responsibility:

Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications
Maintain precise records of customer credit
Address and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner
Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions
Manage full cycle AP processing, including 2/3-way processing, batching, and coding
Perform vendor statement reconciliations, check runs, and accruals
Handle the entry of invoices through month-end
Deal with vendors as part of our operations across numerous restaurants in multiple states
Utilize skills in Account Coding, Accrual Accounting, Automated Clearing House (ACH), and Auditing, among others
Employ Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Table, HLOOKUP, and VLOOKUP, for various tasks
Ensure intercompany transactions are properly recorded and reconciled

Requirements:

Proficiency in Account Coding
Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)
Solid understanding of Accrual Accounting
Experience in Auditing
Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH)
Proficiency in using Restaurant 365 software
Experience in the Restaurant industry
Ability to Code Invoices effectively
Experience in Coding Invoices
Ability to handle Approved Invoices efficiently
Experience in Batching
Capability to handle Month End Close procedures
Adept at Check Runs
Experience in Entering Vendor Invoices
Knowledge of Pivot Table operations
Proficiency in HLOOKUP and VLOOKUP functions
Skilled in Microsoft Excel
Proficiency in Excel Formulas
