Job Description:

We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. This role is primarily based in Bethesda, Maryland, but offers remote flexibility. You will be part of a dynamic team within the finance industry, focusing on accounts payable tasks. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Utilize accounting software systems to process customer credit applications accurately and swiftly
Efficiently manage the procure to pay process, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures
Operate Coupa for various accounts payable functions, including a 2-way match to the Purchase Order (PO)
Oversee the maintenance of accurate customer credit records
Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status
Perform account coding and accrual accounting tasks as required
Use ADP - Financial Services and Concur for various accounting functions
Employ ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient business process management
Execute auditing tasks and manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist
Proficiency in Account Coding processes and techniques
Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems for effective record keeping and data management
Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for integrated business management
Expertise in Accounting Functions ensuring accurate financial reporting
