Job Description:

Our client is seeking a contract Accounts Payable Specialist to join its growing team. Responsibilities include handling the administrative and clerical needs of the AP/Finance Department, executing daily processes and controls, providing customer service, supporting audits, processing invoices and checks, and performing special projects. Candidates are required to have at least 1 year of Accounts Payable processing experience and strong organizational and Excel skills.

Job Responsibility:

Handle the administrative and clerical needs of the AP/Finance Department
Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner
provide compliance with Company policies
Providing customer service to internal business partners
Providing internal and external audit assistance as required
Open, sort and distribute daily department mail
Sort, log, photocopy, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
Perform special projects as assigned

Requirements:

AA or BA/BS in Accounting or related
1+ years of Accounts Payable processing
High volume and 3-way match experience
Microsoft Dynamics 365(or similar) experience and ability to easily learn new systems
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple tasks
