Job Description:

We are offering a temporary employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Plano, Texas. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in managing various aspects of the accounts payable process, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Job Responsibility:

Accurate high-volume data entry transitioning towards fully automated invoice management
Timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and payment disbursements
Manage match exceptions and out of tolerance PO’s, resolving discrepancies with relevant personnel
Regular review and reconciliation of vendor statements to maintain positive vendor relationships
Monitor and manage purchase orders for timely and accurate processing
Contribute to month end closing procedures
Use of Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning tools to perform daily tasks

Requirements:

Proficiency in Account Coding
Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems
Experience with ADP - Financial Services
Familiarity with Concur software
Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
Understanding of Accounting Functions
Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
Knowledge of Accrual Accounting
Experience in Auditing
Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions
