Job Description:

We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the construction industry, located in Houston, Texas. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for various tasks including invoice processing, data validation, and assisting in system transition. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Manage the input of invoices accurately into the company's accounting system
Organize invoices in batches for submission and processing
Verify all invoice details for accuracy and compliance with company policy before entry
Handle invoices from various locations, ensuring they are processed timely and accurately
Collaborate with the Accounts Payable Supervisor and team members to support the workflow of the department
Assist in transitioning from the current accounting system to SAP, providing accurate data during the implementation phases

Requirements:

Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
Ability to carry out Check Runs
Skilled in Coding Invoices
High level of accuracy in Data Entry
Competency in Invoice Processing
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of SAP software
Experience in Batching
