Job Description:

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the Transportation Equipment Manufacturing industry located in SOLON, Ohio. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing AP invoices and check requests, maintaining vendor files and processing payables. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Reviews A/P invoices and check requests to ensure proper coding and authorization
Matches invoices with purchase orders and receivers
Processes payables using SAP R/3 enterprise software
Works in resolving issues in AP Automation system
Maintains account payables/vendor files
Support weekly payment run processing
Follows up on account statements and other discrepancies regarding payment of accounts
Works directly with Supply Chain in the resolution of issues with Vendor Billing

Requirements:

Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
Familiarity with SAP is required
Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems
Ability to perform all Accounting Functions
Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP)
Experience with processing high volume AP
