Job Description:

Robert Half is hiring for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their client in the East Bay. This role involves full-cycle accounts payable responsibilities and offers opportunities to work in multiple industries using various software platforms. Contract/temporary professionals can access medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and free online training.

Job Responsibility:

Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
Process two and 3 way match
Prioritize invoices according to discounts and payment terms
Process expense reports and maintain vendor accounts
Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
Respond to vendor inquiries
Audit and process credit card bills
Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks
1099 maintenance
Assist in month end closing
Perform special projects as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor or Associate degree in Accounting, Business or similar
2 or more years of recent experience in FULL CYCLE Accounts Payable
ERP software experience such as Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, MS Dynamics
Advanced Excel skills
Highly organized, detail oriented, flexible, and able to deal with frequent and changing priorities
Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
