Job Description:

The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth financial operations by managing customer applications, maintaining accurate records, and addressing inquiries. The role involves tasks like reconciling accounts, maintaining financial records, and processing payments. It requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, AP processes, and data entry skills.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
Uphold and manage customer credit records
Address customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action
Analyze and process employee expense reports in accordance with company regulations
Contribute to the streamlining of accounts payable workflows, identifying and implementing best practices
Assist in the reconciliation of accounts payable accounts and prepare necessary adjusting entries
Organize and maintain accounts payable files in both physical and digital formats
Provide support during internal and external audits
Maintain detail-oriented communication with vendors, resolving discrepancies or payment issues promptly
Prepare and execute check runs, ACH, and wire payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing

Requirements:

Proficiency in Account Coding
A deep understanding of Accounting Software Systems
A comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions
Solid experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes
Excellent Data Entry skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Legal authorization to work in the United States
