Job Description:

Exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the construction and contracting industry, primarily involving managing and processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries.

Job Responsibility:

Efficiently process high volumes of customer credit applications
Accurately maintain and update customer credit records
Regularly monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed
Sort and match accounts payable invoice support documents
Conduct invoice batch and edit review for accuracy
Maintain and update tracking logs using Microsoft Excel
Handle the filing of customer records and related documents
Perform as an onsite interoffice mail courier when necessary
Receive and process supply orders
Utilize software including Word, Excel, Outlook, Viewpoint Spectrum, and Adobe Acrobat to perform tasks
Serve as backup for front desk coverage as needed

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role within the construction/contractor industry
Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)
Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices
Capable of performing accurate Data Entry tasks
Proven expertise in Invoice Processing
Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
