Job Description:

The role involves managing and rectifying purchase order invoice issues, and necessitates close collaboration with various teams including Accounts Payable, Project Accounting, and Purchasing. The position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and manage purchase orders and their corresponding invoices within Deltek Costpoint
Handle PO correction issues by working in unison with Accounts Payable, Project Accounting, and Purchasing teams
Tackle any backlog of PO invoices, ensuring they are processed accurately and promptly
Maintain an in-depth understanding of the purchase order functionalities within the Costpoint system to facilitate error resolution
Work with various departments to simplify the PO corrections and invoice approval process
Uphold compliance with all internal financial policies and procedures related to purchase orders and invoices
Spot opportunities for process improvement to minimize recurring purchase order errors
Utilize accounting software systems and ADP - Financial Services to manage account coding and perform accrual accounting
Conduct auditing tasks and manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions
Use ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and Concur for managing accounting functions and accounts payable

Requirements:

Proficiency in Account Coding
Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems
Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services
Experience with Concur
Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
Knowledge of various Accounting Functions
Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
Understanding of Accrual Accounting
Auditing skills
Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH)
