Job Description:

A reputable non-profit organization located just north of downtown Indianapolis is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact while advancing your accounting career.

Job Responsibility:

Efficiently process and review employee expense reports in Oracle Cloud for accuracy and compliance with organizational policies
Ensure timely and accurate coding, approval, and payment of invoices and reimbursements
Assist with resolving any discrepancies or issues related to expenses or payables
Maintain organized and thorough expense report documentation
Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve processes and maintain efficiency
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related role
Strong proficiency with Oracle Cloud or similar ERP systems
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work a hybrid schedule, which includes being in-office three days a week (Mon/Tue/Fri) and remote two days a week (Wed/Thurs)
