Job Description:

This role focuses heavily on managing the accounts payable process and leading a team in a dynamic environment. The position intersects with various functions, including vendor relations, financial reporting, and process improvement, within the industry.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the accounts payable process and team
Act as the primary point of contact for resolving escalated accounts payable issues
Conduct troubleshooting for AP processing issues
Prepare, analyze, and present financial information to management
Contribute to month-end close procedures
Drive the development and implementation of new procedures and features
Collaborate with the procurement and operations teams
Handle 1099 filings
Foster employee growth through training and performance evaluations
Assist with year-end audit requests
Undertake ad hoc analyses and projects

Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role
Expertise in Account Coding
Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems
Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
Strong skills in using Concur
Ability to handle Data Processing tasks efficiently
Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
Profound knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Strong background in Accrual Accounting
Experience in Auditing
Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) systems
