Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity in the transport industry at our Riviera Beach, Florida location. We are seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager who is highly organized and detail-oriented. This role will involve processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries, as well as monitoring customer accounts.

Job Responsibility:

Supervising and managing the processing of customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
Overseeing the maintenance of precise customer credit records
Resolving customer inquiries promptly and professionally
Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action based on account activity
Ensuring smooth operation of the Accounts Payable (AP) processes within the team
Implementing effective strategies for accounts payable management
Collaborating with other departments for process improvement and problem-solving
Conducting performance reviews and providing feedback to team members

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the Accounts Payable department, preferably in the transport industry
Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes
Proficiency in using financial software and office productivity tools
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with vendors, clients, and internal teams
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Familiarity with transport industry regulations and financial standards
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports
Strong problem-solving skills to resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
Knowledge of financial legislation, regulation, and practices in the transport industry
Exceptional organizational skills for maintaining financial records and managing budgets
Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and advancements in technology
