Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer invoicing, processing payments, and ensuring accurate and timely collections. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our company and be a key player in driving our continued growth.

Job Responsibility:

Managing customer invoicing
Processing payments
Ensuring accurate and timely collections
Entering, posting, and reconciling batches
Researching and resolving customer A/R issues
Preparing aging report
Placing billing and collection calls
Maintaining cash receipts journal
Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L
Performing basic accounting tasks
Reconciling bank accounts
Inputting timesheet data
Verifying documents and codes
Processing payments
Compiling segments of monthly closings and annual reports
Supporting, communicating, reinforcing and defending the mission, values and culture of the organization
Providing information as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stakeholders
Contacting existing clients to help resolve payment issues
Assisting in setting up payment plans

Requirements:

Previous experience in accounts receivable within the Construction industry
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of basic accounting principles
Associate's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field preferred

Nice to have:

Previous experience in the Construction industry
