Job Description:

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Daytona Beach, Florida. Operating within the service industry, the successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records, managing collections, and ensuring effective communication with clients.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer invoices, payments, and credits
Regularly monitor accounts receivable aging reports, taking appropriate action on outstanding balances
Engage in effective communication with clients to discuss payment status and resolve any discrepancies
Accurately process cash receipts and apply payments to appropriate accounts
Undertake collections management, following up on outstanding invoices as needed
Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date accounts receivable records
Provide support for account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
Assist with month-end closing processes and reporting tasks.

Requirements:

Proven experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar role in the Service industry
Proficiency in Account Reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
Demonstrable skills in Billing, including generating, sending, and tracking invoices
Experience in Cash Applications, applying payments to customer accounts accurately
Track record in Cash Collections, ensuring timely receipt of payments from customers
Previous experience in Commercial Collections, handling business-to-business collections
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting
Familiarity with Oracle financial software for managing accounts receivable
Experience with QuickBooks for managing financial tasks
Knowledge of SAP for efficient financial management and reporting
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
