Job Description:

Robert Half is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk for a growing company in Escondido, CA. Job Responsibility:

Process and post customer payments and invoices, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
Verify discrepancies and resolve billing issues efficiently by coordinating with internal teams and external clients
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly AR summaries and reports for management review
Conduct follow-up on overdue accounts and initiate collection calls or emails as needed
Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, or account balances
Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure timely payments
Reconcile AR sub-ledger balances to the general ledger
Assist in month-end closing activities related to AR processes

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required
associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
1-2 years of AR or billing experience
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with a customer service mindset
