Job Description:

Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Albany, New York. Your role will involve managing client invoices, maintaining up-to-date financial records, and resolving billing issues. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and collections.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately generate, review, and process client invoices, ensuring they comply with contract terms
Prepare and submit AIA payment applications, managing AIA billing and ensuring all documentation is correct
Monitor accounts receivable balances, tracking any overdue accounts and following up on outstanding payments
Reconcile customer accounts, resolving any discrepancies in billing or payments
Collaborate with sales and project management teams to address any billing inquiries and disputes
Maintain accurate financial records and generate reports related to receivables and collections
Assist with month-end closing processes and provide support for audit requests when needed
Process incoming payments, including checks, ACH, and credit card transactions
Ensure all practices are in compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to invoicing and collections

Requirements:

Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
Ability to handle Billing operations efficiently
Skills in Cash Applications are essential
Experience in Cash Collections is necessary
Familiarity with Commercial Collections is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
Experience with Oracle is highly desirable
Knowledge of QuickBooks is necessary
Familiarity with SAP system is a key requirement

Nice to have:

Experience with Oracle
Familiarity with SAP system
