Job Description:

This role provides an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced organization with a growing portfolio of construction projects. If you have a knack for accuracy, an eye for detail, and a passion for delivering financial excellence, this position is for you!

Job Responsibility:

Process, review, and post customer invoices for multiple ongoing construction projects
Monitor outstanding balances and generate aging reports to identify delinquent accounts
Collaborate with project managers to resolve billing and collection issues related to job expenses
Match purchase orders and supporting documents to determine proper billing amounts
Issue payment reminders and communicate with clients regarding overdue invoices
Assist with lien releases, waivers, and documentation related to accounts
Post payments received via checks, wire transfers, and other methods in the system
Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure internal records are accurate and up to date

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable roles, particularly in the construction industry
Strong understanding of construction billing processes and AIA documentation
Proficiency in construction-related accounting software such as Sage 100 Contractor, QuickBooks, or similar platforms
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment
