Job Description:

Our client, an established construction firm, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the full accounts receivable cycle while supporting the financial health of ongoing construction projects.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare, issue, and reconcile invoices for construction projects
monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables
post payments to customer accounts and investigate discrepancies
generate accounts receivable aging reports
support month-end and year-end closing processes
collaborate with internal departments to streamline billing and payment workflows
provide excellent customer service

Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years of accounts receivable experience
construction industry experience preferred
strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, best practices, and relevant accounting principles
proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
proven ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and prioritize responsibilities effectively
professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer satisfaction
