Job Description:

Robert Half has partnered with a company in the Non-Profit sector, to assist in their search for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This Accounts Receivable Specialist role involves managing and streamlining billing operations and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely receipt of payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and fostering positive client relationships.

Job Responsibility:

Facilitate a smooth billing process by ensuring invoices are issued timely and accurately
Manage payment processing to maintain a steady cash flow for the organization
Conduct regular account reconciliations to identify and rectify any discrepancies
Oversee the submission of claims and follow up on outstanding balances to ensure timely payments
Work collaboratively with insurance providers and patients to resolve any billing issues
Liaise with internal teams to ensure adherence to healthcare regulations
Contribute to process improvements in the accounts receivable operations to enhance efficiency
Utilize various software systems including CRM, Epic, and ERP for efficient account management
Handle cash activity and transactions in compliance with the organization's policies and procedures
Assist in the preparation of reports to provide insights into the accounts receivable operations

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Experience with Accounting Functions
Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) management
Experience with Billing Functions
Ability to manage Cash Activity
Experience in Cash Handling
Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
Experience with ADP - Financial Services
Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
Proficiency in using Epic Software
Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
