Job Description:

We are delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Senior role on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Leeds. Job Responsibility:

Preparing financial statements and statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
Reviewing accounts prepared by junior staff and providing guidance where needed
Managing client relationships and providing proactive business advice
Ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and tax regulations
Assisting with audits and liaising with external auditors when required
Supporting the development of junior team members

Requirements:

ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified, or qualified by experience
Must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and accounting standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work efficiently under pressure
Proactive approach and a passion for delivering high-quality service
